Palermo is the Region Capital while the other provinces are: Agrigento, Caltanisetta, Catania, Enna, Messina, Ragusa, Siracusa and Trapani.

Sicily can be reached:

– By car: from Calabria region, taking the ferry which crosses the Strait of Messina. As soon as you get to the Island, the main highway is A18 (Messina Catania) connecting the two main cities of Sicily.

– By plane: international airports Falcone e Borsellino (Palermo), Fontanarossa (Catania), V.Florio (Trapani-Birgi).

– By boat: ships from Genoa or Naples, to Palermo or Catania.
Cruises and Ferries get in the harbours of Palermo, Trapani, Messina, Catania, Siracusa, Porto Empedocle, Mazara del Vallo and Milazzo.
