From February 23rd to March 4th, 2025, the town of Castrovillari (in the province of Cosenza) comes alive for the 67th edition of the most important Carnival in Calabria.

During the Castrovillari Carnival the rich program includes:
– the contrast, a poetic composition between King Carnival and Lent
– coronation of the King and delivery of the keys to the city
– parades of allegorical floats
– programs for children
– musical and folkloric performances by groups from Bulgaria, Greece, Serbia…
– sports tournaments
– dance schools‘ shows…
