From February 4th to 13th,2024, the most important Calabria Carnival

From February 4th to 13th, 2024, the town of Castrovillari (in the province of Cosenza) comes alive for the 66th edition of the most important Carnival in Calabria.

During the Castrovillari Carnival the rich program includes:
– the contrast, a poetic composition between King Carnival and Lent
– coronation of the King and delivery of the keys to the city
– parades of allegorical floats
– programs for children
– musical and folkloric performances by groups from Bulgaria, Greece, Serbia…
– sports tournaments
– dance schools‘ shows…
