On December 26 and 29, and on January 1-4-5-6, 2025 the fascinating Living Nativity Scene comes back in Civita di Bagnoregio. in the province of Viterbo.

The Living Nativity Scene of Civita di Bagnoregio takes place in one of the Italian most suggestive villages, founded on top of a plateau of volcanic tuff, one of the reasons why it was chosen as a location for some famous Italian movies such as “The Two Colonels” (1962) and “L’armata Brancaleone” (Vittorio Gassmann protagonist – 1966).

Visitors coming to Civita di Bagnoregio are absorbed by the atmosphere of a place far in time, with the cloth, fruit and spice markets, Roman settlements, Bedouin camps, the road of artisans and merchants, the Biblical Magi and the hut of the Holy Family…

The Christmas season is a good occasion to visit an event in a location unique in the world.
