On February 21-23, and February 28-March 2, 2025, the trade show dedicated to the local Black Truffle (Nero di Norcia) comes back to Norcia (Perugia area) for its 61st edition
Nero di Norcia is the most important agricultural fair in Umbria, rounding up all “trufflers”, “norcini” and shepherds of the area (usually more than 100 exhibitors overall!)
The main protagonist is the Fine Black Truffle of Norcia (traditionally known in English as Nursia), but “on stage” it is possible to find further traditional local products such as cold cuts, the IGP prosciutto (ham) of Norcia, sheep milk cheese, the IGP Lentil of Castelluccio di Norcia, and other legumes and cereals of the area.
The trade show is an opportunity to get to know this area’s traditional products and discover the authentic tastes of one of the Italian regions that passionately safeguard the local agricultural tradition.
The program of Nero di Norcia includes show cooking, two parades, events about the territorial economy issues, truffles and other food tastings.
