by car: through highway A1 from North, and A2 from South.
by train: two large railway stations: Termini and Tiburtina. Termini is one of the most important railway’s station in Italy. point of reference for high speed trains and part of the Trans-European Networks Transport (TEN-T) as it is a crossing point connecting the South (Palermo), the Center and the North of Italy to Berlin.
by plane thanks to Leonardo da Vinci (Fiumicino) and Ciampino airports, which are directly connected to the most important cities in the world.
It is possible to arrive close to Rome by ferries, at Ostia, Fiumicino and Civitavecchia harbours.
The public transport system (ATAC) of the underground, trams and buses gets you to the major tourist sites and attractions quicker.
