Liguria is the first access to the sea from Lombardy.
Liguria has 4 provinces: Genoa, metropolitan city and region capital, La Spezia, Savona and Imperia.
Liguria is easily accessible from all Italy:
– by car using the motorways: A7, A12, A26, A10 and A15;
– by train: train stations in the main cities. Genoa is the main railway hub;
– by air thanks to the international airport C.Colombo in Genoa;
– by ship: Genoa and Savona ports from where depart and arrive commercial vessels, cruise ships and also ferries to/from Sardinia, Corsica, Spain and the south Mediterranean.
Genoa is only 150 km from Milan. Easily to reach by highway and by train.
For those who wants to stay in the West coast of Liguria (Riviera di Ponente) near Sanremo, there is a link road that starts from Tortona and connect directly to the Riviera.
