The region capital is Ancona, while the other provinces are Ascoli-Piceno, Fermo, Macerata, and Pesaro-Urbino.
Arriving to Marche:
– by car : you can take the A14 also known as the Bologna-Taranto highway;
– by train: you can use the Adriatic coast railway line and the main stations are: Pesaro and Ancona. Along this railway line from the station in Civitanova Marche-Montegranarao starts the connection with the city of Macerata, while from the Porto d’ Ascoli station starts the connection with the city of Ascoli Piceno;
– by plane: through Ancona airport;
– by ship: thanks to Ancona‘s port, the first in Italy for international traffic of goods and passengers.
