Trentino Alto Adige welcomes tourists with the beauty of landscapes and the taste of local cuisine in an atmosphere both ancient and modern at the same time. That’s why many events and traditional festivals in Trentino are also often connected to nature.
There are many folkloristic events such as the San Leonardo Horse Ride in the small hamlet of San Leonardo di Badia which celebrates its Patron in early November, or the Peasant Wedding in Castelrotto taking place in January that is the historical reenactment of a traditional 19th-century rural wedding.

If you are passionate of history, the First World War Museum displays war materials, artifacts, and different nations uniforms of soldiers who died on the glaciers of the Adamello massif.
Trentino is the destination for many sports and for this reason, it hosts many sporting events in winter such as the Marcialonga in Fiemme and Fassa Valleys, and in summer the Südtirol Dolomiti Superbike in Villabassa.
To see with children the Scarecrow House, with many photographs and outdoor scarecrows (from mid-April to mid-October) and the Guard Stone Museum, a collection of curbstones in and at the end of September the Desmontegar Feast when the herds return to the village from the mountain pastures.
